The Blues are in the middle of an incredibly busy week in terms of transfers.
Not only are there a slew of top names on the verge of joining, there are also several names that need to be shifted.
Beyond the players the club are looking to sell, there are also those they want to loan. Nizaar Kinsella’s piece on Goal about Chelsea’s busy week picked out 5 of them who will definitely be heading out on loan, but who have yet to have a destination decided.
Jake Clarke-Salter will apparently continue in the Championship, while Baba Rahman is in demand in Germany.
Then there’s Matt Miazga, who has a variety of offers on the table, plus Dujon Sterling and Nathan Baxter, whom one assumes will stay in England somewhere.
Of course there could yet be others to join them – Ethan Ampadu and Conor Gallagher are hoping to impress Frank Lampard in preseason training, but will be loaned out if space can’t be made for them.
