Manchester City travelled to Stamford Bridge knowing that anything less than a win would see them lose their title and Liverpool would become new Premier League champions.
However, Liverpool fans were in cloud 9 after Chelsea defeated Manchester City 2-1 at Stamford Bridge on Thursday night. It was a tough game between the two sides, with the world watching to see what will happen between the two sides, and the game didn’t disappoint.
Chelsea had gone ahead through Christian Pulisic but Kevin De Bruyne drew level from a stunning free-kick. Willian was able to score a penalty for Chelsea to seal a late victory for the Blues and thus confirm Liverpool’s position as the new Premier League champions.
While Liverpool fans celebrated the victory all over, a Liverpool fan took his celebration further by holding a small cardboard homemade Premier League trophy to show the departing Man City team bus.
