REVEALED: Why Lampard won’t sell Kepa this summer but on one condition

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is reportedly interested in selling Kepa Arrizabalaga this summer but new reports have now claimed that won’t happen.

According to The Athletic, Chelsea were never in a position to sell Kepa Arrizabalaga during the summer transfer window.

Kepa’s huge price tag meant the Blues would struggle to find a buyer.

Kepa joined Chelsea from Athletic Bilbao for a world record £71million but the goalkeeper has struggled for form this season.

The coronavirus crisis has made it even more difficult for Chelsea to offload Kepa with clubs expected to approach the upcoming transfer window with caution.

Lampard is expected to keep working with Kepa for the foreseeable future in the hope of improved performances.
