REVEALED: Why Tomori rejected deadline day move to Premier League rival

Before the transfer window ends there are some offers made from other Premier League rivals to some Chelsea players one of them is Fikayo Tomori.

However, West Ham considered a deadline day loan move for Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori.

Chelsea’s failure to offload Antonio Rudiger means the Blues have an overload of defenders and West Ham hoped to capitalise by taking the ever-improving Tomori.

Rudiger had been linked with moves to AC Milan, Roma and Tottenham Hotspur but is now set to stay with the Blues to battle for his place along with Andreas Christensen and Kurt Zouma.

Despite Rudiger’s failure to get a move away from the club, Tomori decided against joining West Ham on loan as he wants to fight for his place in the Chelsea team.

While Tomori opted against leaving the club on loan, Ruben Loftus-Cheek joined Fulham on a season-long loan deal.
