Roman Abramovich ready to sanction move for 22-year-old La-Liga star as Lukaku replacement

Looks like Chelsea owner Roman Abramoivch is getting tired of Romelu Lukaku at Chelsea, However, since Lukaku’s recent interview about Chelsea, the Belgian international is yet to make any changes on the pitch.

However, according to Daily Mirror, Chelsea are keen on signing Real Sociedad forward Alexander Isak next summer.

Well, the Blues face competition from Premier League rivals Manchester United and Arsenal for the 22 year old striker who impressed for Sweden during the Euro 2020 last summer.

Isak has a £75million buyout clause in his contract with the La Liga club and is considered an alternative to Erling Haaland, who is being courted by several of Europe’s biggest and richest clubs.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is reportedly ready to sanction a move for the Real Sociedad striker next summer should Romelu Lukaku fail to deliver the goods this season.

Real Sociedad are reportedly unwilling to listen to offers for the 22 year old unless they receive an offer close to his release clause of £75million.

Isak is also tied down to a long-term contract which runs until 2026, meaning Sociedad are under no pressure to sell.
