Should Chelsea make a move? As the Blues monitoring Arsenal top Player

Top Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is nearing the end of his contract with Arsenal, and the Gabonese have lit up the Premier League since joining from Borussia Dortmund in 2017.

Interestingly, Chelsea had the opportunity to sign Aubameyang back then and the Gabonese had the interest to play for the Blues, but Chelsea eventually ended up with Alvaro Morata who struggled to perform and has since moved back to Spain.

With Chelsea boss Frank Lampard having completed his first signing in Hakim Ziyech, the Blues boss is also keen to add to the strength of the current squad by signing a striker, a centre midfielder, a left-back and possibly a goalkeeper.

Aubameyang is out of contract in 2021 and he’s rejected two proposals from the Gunners over an extension. The 30-year-old last played Champions League football in 2017 and with the Gunners looking unlikely to qualify for the Champions League this term, it’s more unlikely that Aubameyang will want to remain at Arsenal.

Bleacher Report now claim that Chelsea are the latest club to show interest in Aubameyang and the Blues could make a swoop during the summer.

What do you think of Aubameyang making the move to Chelsea?
