Striker talks up move to Premier League, Chelsea sent £100m summer transfer message as Blues open talks to sign £300,000-a-week defender

David Alaba is in discussions with the likes of Chelsea as Real Madrid’s contract offer isn’t considered to be acceptable.

There has been alot of speculation regarding the future of Alaba over the past few months, and we are one club that are very interested in trying to tempt the left-back to the Premier League.

Right now Thomas Tuchel has Ben Chilwell and Marcos Alonso in that position, and although they have been solid this season, there is a feeling that the German boss will still look to add to his squad in the summer, and Alaba is on the list.

However, it seemed that Real Madrid looked all set to win the race to get the defender signed up, as they seemed to be the club that were most ready to give him that £300,000-a-week contract that he reportedly desires.

BUT WHAT IS THE LATEST?

Reports on Spanish publication Marca have claimed that Madrid have indeed made their moves to try and get a deal done, but have offered too little for Alaba to be happy with and he is now in talks us about a possible deal

There are also talks being held with Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain, with Alaba yet to have made a decision over the club he’ll join after he leaves Bayern Munich.

Indeed, the Austria international’s contract expires in the summer and there has been huge interest in landing the 28-year-old on a free transfer.

CHELSEA have received a boost in their pursuit of Lucas Gourna-Douath with St-Etienne reportedly prepared to accept £22million.

Gourna-Douath is one of the hottest prospects in French football, and the talent is attracting interest from some of the very best sides in the Premier League, as well as a few Spanish clubs.

He has played 23 times in Ligue 1 this season earning praise for his performances from a deep-lying role, but despite all the transfer speculation, The youngster is also said to be keen on continuing his development with his boyhood club.

St-Etienne boss Claude Puel also wants him to be the future of his team, and is hoping that the French club would deter all speculation and keep him at the club for the next couple of seasons.

Reports in the SUN website have claimed that St-Etienne face being forced to sell at the end of this season as part of a mass player cull.

The Covid-19 has hit many football clubs hard over the past 12 months and they knew that they money they could get from the Sale of Douath would go a long way towards paying off some bills and maybe adding to the squad.

Borussia Dortmund “assume” that Chelsea target Erling Haaland will still be their player next season, insists the club’s head of first-team football Sebastian Kehl.

Haaland is a player that has been linked with some of the games biggest clubs over the past few weeks after netting an impressive 43 goal in 43 games for Borussia Dortmund since his move to the German side last season.

Thomas Tuchel is reportedly a man that is keen to bolster that attack when the transfer window opens up in just a few weeks time, and if you believe all the reports Haaland is a man that is high up on the shopping list.

WHAT IS THE LATEST NEWS?

Kehl says that there has been no firm deal put in place with any next club, and therefore Dortmund are working on the assumption that they will be able to call on Haaland’s goals in the 2021-22 campaign.

Kehl told SportBild of Haaland: “We assume that he will stay beyond the summer and become an even better player with us.”

WILL CHELSEA GET A DEAL DONE FOR HAALAND?

We are massive fans of the striker and believe that he has the ability to be an absolute superstar in the Premier League should he decide to make that move to England, and the fact that Chelsea can offer him a big wage and a chance at trophies, they would be a very good option.

If we are seriously keen on the man, they will get a transfer deal done, as we said, they have the money to buy any player that they like
