‘That’s why teams hate playing against Tuchel! Plymouth boss finally reveals why teams hate playing against Tuchel Chelsea
Chelsea beats Plymouth 2-1 at Stamford Bridge in the Fa Cup as the Blues progressed to the next round.
However, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel famously said he wanted to build a Chelsea team that nobody wants to play against.
Meanwhile, Plymouth Argyle manager Steven Schumacher believes Tuchel has already achieved that at Chelsea.
Schumacher said when asked if teams would dread facing Tuchel’s Chelsea side: “Yeah, because of their style.”
“The data says that they are the best team at regaining the ball high up the pitch.
“I think that’s Thomas is going on about.
“Whoever goes to Stamford Bridge doesn’t get an easy day, and they have also got a clear style of how they want to play with the ball.
“Everyone who goes there experiences a tough afternoon, and we won’t be no different.”
