The King and i! Perfect Abraham partner found as Chelsea interested in signing Premier League star

Chelsea could be one of what it reckons are four top Premier League clubs who have Bournemouth striker Josh King as a transfer target.

There is no doubt in the media that Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is keen to add another striker to the attack when the transfer window opens up, as Tammy Abraham will not be able to do it all himself in the coming seasons.

There has been some big names linked with a move to Stamford Bridge over the past few weeks, despite the fact that the football matches are not taking place, and King is a name that ha caught the attentions of many of the top clubs.

King has one year left on his Bournemouth contract and is likely to leave this summer. He has scored 48 times since moving to Bournemouth five years ago after his contract ran out at Blackburn Rovers.

Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard also wants to add to his attacking options when the transfer window opens, and is ready to beat off the attentions of Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham for his signature, according TO REPORTS ON SKY SPORTS

The report goes on to suggest Part of the appeal of King to Chelses would be his ability to play both centrally and wide, where his pace has been used to good effect throughout his Bournemouth career.

Look, King may not be that big-time signing that Chelsea fans would love to see arrive in the coming months, but he is proven in the Premier League, is consistently a good performer and knows how to play in the English game.

For the money that he could be going for, he could be a very good back-up striker for Abraham, if he is able to handle the pressure of playing for one of the games very best clubs. It will be interesting to see where he ends up as there is alot of interest in the man.
