“They are both in pains” – Tuchel confirms 2 Chelsea players are out of Wolves clash
Ahead of Wolves clash, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has confirmed Chelsea midfielders Jorginho and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are unavailable.
Both players suffered injury set-backs after starting Thursday’s 1-1 draw against Everton at Stamford Bridge.
Tuchel said: “We have again Jorginho a doubt for Sunday because he’s in pain.
“We have Ruben Loftus-Cheek a doubt because he’s in pain. I don’t know if it is possible for them to travel with us tomorrow and play on Sunday. So maybe we start with N’Golo and Mateo? Would that be fair [on them]? No. Would that be possible? I don’t know. But maybe we do it.
“We need to find the balance now because we put everything on Jorginho’s shoulders and Ruben got injured yesterday.
So let’s see. Maybe we are forced to do the crazy stuff that we would normally not do. But what’s normal, we miss key players and need to find solutions.”
