“This guy can’t finish, Sign this man now” – Chelsea fans urges club to sign 20-goals a season man after Udinese clash

“This guy can’t finish, Sign this man now” – Chelsea fans urges club to sign 20-goals a season man after Udinese clash

On July 29, Chelsea defeated Udinese 3-1 in a friendly match.

However, Raheem Sterling, a newcomer for the Blues, scored to open his account. With a scrappy rebound, he netted Chelsea’s second goal of the evening.

Although the Blues scored three goals last night, the English international was also responsible for squandering a few other good opportunities as the team continued to struggle in front of goal.

Over the years, the former Manchester City star has been a superb player, but he is frequently blamed for passing up simple chances to score. Several Chelsea supporters vented their frustration on Twitter after another of their forwards missed opportunities, which was understandable.

The other Chelsea forwards, Timo Werner and Christian Pulisic, have a reputation for missing easy opportunities. Sterling’s goal was compared by some fans to those uneven finishes.

One supporter was adamant that the Blues needed to get Cristiano Ronaldo so he could score goals frequently.

Here are some of their comments regarding Sterling’s performance:

@SeanA63790556: Sterling has forgotten his goal boot at Man city. Hopefully he goes back to get it before season starts. Can’t even celebrate that goal. Like really!

@Lunihannn: This guy can’t finish

@ch081_: Even our goals we don’t finish properly

@LatifiZenulla: Comedy goal, just like his transfer & salary.

@Jimmie_Jaymz: Thats more like another miss from Sterling

@SamuelOwusuFri3:We need Ronaldo, We need Ronaldo, We need Ronaldo, We need Ronaldo, We need Ronaldo, We need Ronaldo, We need Ronaldo, We need Ronaldo, We need Ronaldo, We need Ronaldo

@User1000011111: If it was Pulisic, you would be saying that he’s really bad and that we need to sell him immediately

@Stonestat: Sign this man called Ronaldo now
