Thousands of Chelsea fans starts petition to stop Anthony Taylor from refereeing any Chelsea match (Don’t be left out)

Chelsea supporters were furious because they thought the officials should have reversed both of Tottenham’s goals in Sunday’s 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge.

The change.org petition claims that Anthony Taylor “has continued to make huge judgements against Chelsea throughout the years in big matches,” and as of this writing, about 16,000 people had signed it.

Taylor “should not be permitted to referee a game featuring Chelsea again because he has an agenda against the team.”

The originator of the petition continues by listing a number of complaints they have about Taylor and referencing instances that, in their opinion, “show” he shouldn’t be permitted to officiate club matches.

They featured both of Tottenham’s goals from Sunday at Stamford Bridge, when Harry Kane’s injury-time equalizer saved a point for the guests.

Cristian Romero of Tottenham certainly yanked at Chelsea’s Marc Cucurella’s hair just before Kane’s goal, but he didn’t receive a caution.

After that, Spurs was granted permission to take a corner, from which Kane scored their equalizer.

There was also controversy around Tottenham’s first equaliser on the afternoon, when Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s strike was allowed to stand despite Richarlison standing in an offside position.

After VAR Mike Dean studied the incident, it was decided that the Brazilian forward wasn’t blocking the vision of Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.

However, Chelsea had twice taken the lead in the match through goals from Kalidou Koulibaly and Reece James, but ultimately had to settle for a point from a bad-tempered affair which ended with Blues boss Thomas Tuchel and Tottenham’s former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte receiving red cards after clashing on the touchline, initially after Hojbjerg’s goal and then again at full-time.
