However, The former Chelsea Brazilian star Willian, has shown that he’s still keeping an eye on the Chelsea team.
The Brazilian who won two Premier League titles with Chelsea in his seven years at the club, is backing his former side to win the league this season.
Chelsea had topped the league for 9 weeks, but the Blues have since lost top spot to Manchester City, who are now 6 points ahead of Chelsea after Chelsea’s goalless draw with Wolves.
Willian is backing City, second-placed Liverpool and Chelsea as the teams in the race for the title this season, but he somehow believes Chelsea will be champions at the end of the season.
The Brazilian said on Rio Ferdinand’s Vibe with FIVE YouTube channel: “Three teams can win the league this year; Chelsea, Liverpool and City,”
