According to reports, Chelsea reportedly contacted Newcastle United about signing winger Allan Sain-Maximin to replace Timo Werner.

The winger joined the team in 2019 after leaving Nice, and he has since developed into one of the most thrilling, talented, and infuriating players that supporters get to see on a regular basis.

As the Athletic ha claimed that Chelsea have now contacted Newcastle and enquired about a possible deal for the French winger

Tottenham are also interested in the Frenchman, but it has been claimed that the Magpies have set a £40 million ($48m) asking price.
