‘Tuchel admires him & he’s ready to give him a good chance’- forgotten Chelsea player set to make Tuchel’s squad
According to reports, the Blues are due to restart training again next week as they begin their pre-season plans.
Obviously they will be without the players who have been, or are still involved in the Euros. They are likely to get a couple of weeks rest and holiday before being asked to return to Cobham.
There will be some familiar faces returning though, with a number of the loan players expected back so Thomas Tuchel can cast his watchful eye over them and decide if he wants to keep any in his squad going forward.
One player who will be hoping he can do enough to persuade Tuchel to put his trust in him is England international midfielder, Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
And according to Chelsea insider CFCNewsPage, who has today put out his latest transfer news column on Si & Dan Talk Chelsea, Loftus-Cheek is ‘admired’ by Tuchel and his staff, and there is a ‘good chance’ that he gets a place in the squad this season.
