‘Tuchel doesn’t knows his worth’- as Jose Mourinho ready to sign forgotten Chelsea player this summer

According to Italian media outlet Tuttosport, The new Roma and Former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is reportedly interested in signing Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham this summer.

Mourinho, who has previously coached Chelsea, believes Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel doesn’t know the worth of the England striker and wants Abraham to replace Edin Dzeko at Roma.

Abraham is expected to leave Chelsea at the end of the season with Tuchel preferring to play Timo Werner and Kai Havertz as strikers.

35 year old Dzeko contributed 13 goals and four assists in 38 appearances across all competitions for Roma but is expected to leave the Italian club this summer and Mourinho believes Abraham is the ideal replacement.

Abraham has scored 12 goals and registered two assists in 32 appearances for Chelsea this season but has found opportunities hard to come by recently.

Chelsea have reportedly put a £40million price tag on Abraham, who is under contract until 2023, with West Ham United and Aston Villa interested in signing him.

Mourinho reportedly believes Abraham has a huge potential and is confident the striker can reach his potential under him.
