Tuchel finally explains why N’Golo Kante was left out of Everton clash

Chelsea go to Goodison Park to face Everton, but Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante miss the clash.

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that N’Golo Kante miss the game due to an injury sustained against Manchester United last Thursday.

“He got off at Old Trafford after 80 minutes and is still in pain,” Tuchel stated. It’s only a mild ailment. I’m hoping he’ll be back in the next game, but not today.”

Ruben Loftus-Cheek has replaced N’Golo Kante, who is not in the team, and Mateo Kovacic has returned to the squad and will start this game on the bench.

However, the game ends in defeat for Thomas Tuchel side as the Blues lost 1-0 to former Chelsea boss Frank Lampard.

This win for Chelsea legend Frank Lampard helps him in the relegation zone as Chelsea save his Everton side.
