However, Carlo Ancelotti managed Chelsea for two years, and the current Real Madrid boss knows exactly what to expect from his former side when they visit the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday.
Ancelotti has said that Chelsea will be coming to the Bernabeu with a fighting spirit.
When asked about Tuchel’s claim that Chelsea’s Champions League tie is already over, Ancelotti said in his press conference on Monday: “I don’t know, everyone has their opinion.
“Chelsea are coming to fight and qualify. They know very well that it is difficult but they are going to try, that is the spirit of football, of big clubs that never give up.”
