‘We won’t fall for this, I don’t believe what Tuchel said’ – Casemiro reveals ahead of Chelsea clash
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel was very unhappy with his team’s display after suffering a 3-1 defeat to Real Madrid last week, as Tuchel clamied the tie was over.
However, The two teams meet at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday night for the second leg of the encounter, and Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro has claimed that the Los Blancos aren’t taking this tie lightly.
According to Casemiro, they don’t believe what Tuchel said and claimed he was only playing mind games.
“We won’t fall for that,” Casemiro said of Tuchel’s comments after the first leg.
“We played probably what was the best 90 minutes of our season in London last week and took a major step closer to qualifying for the semi-final but we can’t get overly confident.
“We all heard what Thomas Tuchel said. We don’t buy it. We know that it will be a tough game. They are defending champions and we won’t take this game lightly, I can assure you of that.
“We’ll need our fans to be there and support us from the beginning. We can’t get overconfident and need our fans to create a great atmosphere so we can advance to the semi-finals.”
