“Tuchel loves him, He will go to Chelsea” – Transfer insider believes Chelsea will seal 250,000K a-week deal
Chelsea could sign Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele this summer, according to transfer expert Dean Jones.
Dembele’s current deal at the Nou Camp expires at the end of this month. Joan Laporta, the president of the Blaugrana, recently acknowledged to The Sun that the 25-year-old has yet to accept the club’s newest contract offer. Dembele is scheduled to become a free agent at the end of the season.
Jones feels that after five years at Barcelona, the Frenchman is “more and more probable” to leave this summer. He also stated that he believes Chelsea would sign him this summer, telling GIVEMESPORT:
“Ousmane Dembele, I could 100% see them pulling it off. I think that if he does leave Barcelona, which is looking more and more likely, then I think he’ll go to Chelsea because Tuchel loves him.”
While playing for Thomas Tuchel at Borussia Dortmund, Dembele garnered the attention of elite clubs all around the world. During the 2016-17 season, the winger scored 10 goals and added 21 assists in 49 games across all competitions.
During that season, Dortmund won the DFB-Pokal, with Dembele scoring in the final against Eintracht Frankfurt.
