Tuchel OFFICIALLY speaks and announces ‘he is close’ to possible Chelsea signing
In light of connections, Thomas Tuchel has remarked on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. This summer, Chelsea hopes to sign the striker.
However, Tuchel wants to ensure that his team adds at least three new players before the transfer window closes in a few weeks.
After letting Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku leave the club this summer, it is no secret that the German needs to add another striker to the lineup. There have been some surprising rumors about a transfer for Aubameyang.
Auba failed to make an impression at the Emirates after signing that enormous £350,000-a-week contract, so Arsenal decided to let him depart the team and sign with Barcelona in January of last year.
After joining for Barcelona in the summer, Robert Lewandowski quickly moved up the pecking order, and the Gabon star finished the season with 13 goals, but it has been reported that Barca are willing to transfer him.
And the German boss has been speaking about his former player – admitting that he is still very close with the Gabon star – he told the Metro: “I enjoyed working with him a lot, it was a pleasure. I’ve never had any issue.
“Some players stay your players, as you are very close. Auba is one of them players. Even when we played Arsenal, straight away it was a close bond.”
