Tuchel to Chelsea ? Pulisic delivered his verdict on Tuchel ahead of possible move
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is under huge pressure to turn the Blues’ fortunes around or risk being the latest casualty of Roman Abramovich’s managerial axe.
The Blues boss watched his side slump to a fifth defeat in their last eight Premier League outings on Tuesday evening as they were defeated 2-0 by Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.
However, according to German publication BILD, Tuchel has aspirations to get back into management as soon as possible and take the reins of a Premier League club.
With that in mind, should Chelsea make the decision to sack Lampard, Tuchel is highly likely to throw his name into the hat to take over in west London.
Should Tuchel be installed as Chelsea’s new boss, it is highly likely to please winger Christian Pulisic, who has worked with the German at Dortmund. Tuchel was responsible for handing the USA international his debut for the Bundesliga club during the 2015/16 season.
Pulisic went on to be a key player within Tuchel’s plans before the latter left the club in May 2017.
Following his departure from the German heavyweights, Pulisic paid tribute to now-47-year-old for handing him the opportunity he did.
