Ahead of January transfer window, Chelsea and Tuchel has been warned that the West Ham midfielder Declan Rice will hang around at the London Stadium for a while longer.
However, The Blues boss Thomas Tuchel is a huge admirer of the England international but Darren Bent insists if the Hammers continue to progress as they have under David Moyes, there will be no reason for Rice to leave.
“If they win the Europa League this year and they are in the Champions League next year, he won’t go anywhere,” Bent said.
“What’s his reason for going then? He’s playing in the best competition in the world then.
I think for the first season, once he has a taste of it, West Ham get into the Champions League and he does particularly well.”
