“Use this formation and save your Job”- Lampard told to use this winning formation

Chelsea’s run of 17 games without tasting defeat was fun while it lasted, but the Blues have since been hit with a doze of reality.

Five defeats in the last eight league games cries out for a change in system. Obviously teams have come to grips with the 4-3-3 system that has been deployed by Frank Lampard, and while the attack doesn’t look sharp anymore, the team’s defence is back to being porous.

Leicester City brilliantly outplayed Chelsea on Tuesday at the King Power Stadium, and the game was lost in the middle of the park, with Wilfred Ndidi and James Maddison calling the shots.

It’s now or never for Frank Lampard to find a winning formula yet again with his Chelsea team looking bereft of ideas. Chances that were flowing with ease some weeks ago seems to have dried up, and almost every player seems to be struggling at the moment.

However, a 4-2-3-1 may just return the team back to winning ways, with the current squad looking shaped for that.

With an already settled back five, the double pivot should be Jorginho and N’Golo Kante. The duo will need to be disciplined and avoid unnecessary forays upfront. For Jorginho, the playmaker should be tasked with finding Timo Werner with his balls from deep, as the German has one of the best movements for a forward player.

Lampard has an abundance of talents to choose for a the forward trio, with the likes of Christian Pulisic, Mason Mount, Kai Havertz, Hakim Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi all worthy choices.

Olivier Giroud, Tammy Abraham and definitely Timo Werner will benefit from playing in front of this attacking midfield.
