Chelsea top midfielder N’Golo Kante has had a brilliant couple of months with Chelsea, starring in the latter stages of the Champions League and eventually lifting the trophy.
That’s lead to tons of talk about individual awards, but when it was put to him on France duty that he could be in line for a Ballon d’Or, he didn’t seem so sure.
“I don’t care” he said, insisting his focus was on the team, and right now, on the Euros.
With any other player we would think it was just modesty. With Kante… we might just believe he really doesn’t care.
According to The Telegraph, Arsenal are willing to listen to offers for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang less than a year after handing him a new £350,000-a-week contract until the summer of 2023.
The 31 year old striker, who played under Thomas Tuchel at Borussia Dortmund, had a difficult season at Arsenal in which he scored just 10 league goals.
The report claims teams across Europe including Chelsea are on alert following Arsenal’s transfer decision on Aubameyang.
Aubameyang enjoyed a fruitful spell at Borussia Dortmund whilst under Tuchel’s guidance and has previously hailed the Chelsea boss as one of the best he’s ever worked with.
He also claimed Tuchel is crazy just like him.
“He is one of the best coaches I have ever had, I cannot deny his talent,” Aubameyang told SFR Sport back in 2018.
“He could be a good fit with PSG, but if he goes on the adventure, we’ll have to see how he keeps the changing room together, I think that’s the hardest thing at a big club.
“He is a bit crazy, just like me.”
