It is very evident that Pep Guardiola will never forget Chelsea’s Champions League final victory in 2021.
After Mason Mount’s fantastic assist and Kai Havertz’s goal in the first half of the game, the Blues were declared the European Champions that year.
However, Pep’s analysis of Chelsea’s technique and difficulty in breaking them before the game showed that even with these weaknesses, Chelsea could not be defeated in the Champions League final.
Even though Manchester City defeated the Blues last season, Pep continues to think that they are a tough team to beat.
