“War”: Why these 8 Chelsea players are frustrated and pushing to leave club before deadline

According to Daily Star, the current atmosphere at Chelsea is tense, with manager Frank Lampard in the midst of shaping a squad after spending big on new players this summer.

The Blues spent over £200million in the transfer market with Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell, Thiago Silva, Malang Sarr, Kai Havertz and Edouard Mendy all joining Chelsea.

The report claims things are tense at Chelsea right now, with uncertainty surrounding a number of players and some pushing for an exit.

Marcos Alonso is one of those whose future is uncertain after he was given a public dressing down in front of his teammates after the 3-3 draw at West Brom.

Along with Alonso, the future is uncertain for Kepa Arrizabalaga, Antonio Rudiger, Jorginho, N’Golo Kante, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Fikayo Tomori, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Emerson Palmieri, with all eight players having been linked with either a permanent or loan move this summer.
