‘Why is this not a red card for Chelsea?’ –LOTS of Arsenal fans unhappy with Chelsea decision against Wolves
LOTS of Arsenal fans feel Chelsea left-back Ben Chilwell should have been sent off during the 2-1 defeat to Wolves.
Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka was rightfully sent off in Arsenal’s loss against Burnley for choking a Burnley player and Arsenal fans feel Chilwell did same thing Daniel Podence when the Wolves winger tried to take a throw-in quickly.
Taking to Twitter, Gooners complained. “How is this not a red card for Chilwell? All we ask for is consistency,” one fan said.
Another added: “Xhaka fully deserved his red card by putting his hand on someone’s throat but it was VAR that gave the red. Why would VAR not do the exact same thing to Chilwell? I mean.”
