Why we must suffer against Chelsea – Ancelotti reveals ahead of UCL clash
After a 3-1 win at Stamford Bridge, Carlo Ancelotti’s side needs to manage the game at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday night.
However, Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has insisted that they are not taking the tie for granted, and he has told his side to be ready to suffer against Chelsea.
Ancelotti told the media in his press conference: “Everyone knows that it will be a difficult game. It is the Champions League quarter-finals and it is always difficult, whatever happens.
“We must play a complete game, know how to suffer, fight, compete… We have to think about planning the same game as in the first leg, bearing in mind that we expect a rival who will do their best to try to win the tie.”
