£100,000 a-week Chelsea star ‘REFUSES’ to finish the season with Chelsea after sealing Roma switch

Chelsea are back to the Premier League on Sunday with the Blues ready to face Aston Villa at the Villa Park.

However, Frank Lampard’s side set to finish the season without a player, with winger Pedro refusing to sign a short-term extension to the end of 2019-20 after sealing a move two year deal with Roma.

Meanwhile, according to the Athletic, An exit this summer was inevitable and Roma have already snapped up the former Barcelona star, offering a two-year deal worth £56,000 a week.

Premier League stars whose contracts run out at the end of this month have the option to sign an extension to the completion of the current campaign. Reports also claims Pedro is reportedly set to walk away from Stamford Bridge at the original end point in the hope of protecting his Serie A move.

Chelsea will face Aston Villa, Manchester City and Leicester City before Pedro’s exit on June 30, as Lampard’s men push for a crucial Champions League spot.

It’s set to be a big summer for Chelsea, with Willian also expected to leave, while Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner are already London-bound.
