60 goals and 44 assists, as Chelsea keen to sign £60million attacker
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is desperate to bolster his attack in the summer and Mahrez, with seven years of Premier League experience under his belt, would be a solid addition to his Blues frontline.
Meanwhile, according to French media outlet Foot Mercato, Chelsea are interested in signing £60million Manchester City winger Riyad Mahrez this summer.
The Algeria international has been an important member of Pep Guardiola’s side since completing a £60million switch to City in 2018, with his tally of 60 goals and 44 assists helping them clinch two Premier League titles, three League Cups and the FA Cup.
The 31 year old winger will enter the final year of his Manchester City contract at the end of June and he is yet to reach an agreement with the Premier League leaders over a new contract.
Given his age and the length of his contract, it is believed £30million could be enough to prise him away from Manchester.
Chelsea, however, face competition from French club Paris Saint-Germain for the signing of Mahrez. PSG reportedly want Mahrez as a replacement for 34 year old Angel di Maria.
