According to reports in the English media, Chelsea has been considering Wilfried Zaha, a winger for Crystal Palace, as a possible transfer target this summer.
Given that the Ivorian has less than a year left on his contract and has been playing well lately, some Twitter users believe the Blues should make a bid for the player:
Zaha is unquestionably a compelling choice. Even though he is already 29 years old, he seemed to have found new life since Patrick Vieira became Palace manager last summer.
However, The forward scored 15 goals in all competitions for the Eagles during the 2021/22 campaign, and he has started this season in a rich vein of form too, having scored three times in three league appearances so far.
With it being claimed that Zaha could be available for only £25m, it could tempt Chelsea into making a bid before next week’s transfer deadline.
