“He will leave today or tomorrow” – Chelsea finally close to sign another new player
After some recent lulls in the transfer market, Chelsea may finally be nearing a deal to bring in a new player this summer.
Gerard Romero, a source close to Barcelona, claims that Chelsea might sign Aubameyang as soon as today.
He says, on his latest Twitch report, Barcelona have asked Chelsea to accept paying a €25m fixed fee + €3m in add-ons for Pierre Emerick Aubameyang. And if they accept those terms, the player will leave today. This comes after him saying that Barcelona are in talks today with Aubameyang’s entourage to close him leaving the club.
It looks genuinely now like this one is very close and could be sewn up before the weekend begins and Chelsea play their next match.
They would of course need to register any new players before Friday at midday if they want them to be available to play this weekend.
