Bayern star opens door to Chelsea move as £77M star opens door to Stamford Bridge

Bayern Munich ace Benjamin Pavard has hinted he could be interested in a move amid interest from the likes of Chelsea

However, Pavard has developed into one of the best defenders in the Bundesliga with Bayern – and was just about persuaded to stay at Bayern in the summer window despite interest from Manchester United, ChelseaFC, Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain, Atletico Madrid and Juventus.

Now – the player has alerted all those clubs after admitting that he is open to the idea of leaving Bayern with just one year left on his current contract

Speaking to Telefoot, Pavard said: “I questioned myself, I had calls from different clubs with my agent. Afterwards, I had the Bayern coach with whom we spoke and with whom we have a good relationship.

“He made me understand that I was in his plans, that I was important for the team. Maybe one day I will go to one of these clubs, you never know what the future holds.

“I’m still a year at Bayern Munich. Afterwards, we have time to project ourselves.”

Josko Gvardiol opens door to Chelsea move

RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol has opened the door to a move to Chelsea.

New Chelsea boss Graham Potter is thought to be an admirer, and owner Todd Boehly is ready to go back for Gvardiol as he looks to land football’s best youngsters.

The Croatia international himself has now opened the door for a move to Stamford Bridge as early as January.

Yet Gvardiol adds he is also more than happy to remain in Germany should no offers arise.

He said: “I am happy at Leipzig, I still have a lot to learn and need to work on myself.

“I have people who deal with it, I didn’t think about a transfer. We’ll see what happens in the winter.”
