According to transfer expert Ian McGarry, Chelsea have lost a key transfer target to Premier League rivals Liverpool.
McGarry claims RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner has agreed personal terms with Liverpool ahead of a summer move to the Premier League leaders.
The German international was a key transfer target for Chelsea boss Frank Lampard, with billionaire Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich ready to back Lampard in the pursuit of the RB Leipzig striker.
According to Daily Express, “Werner has agreed personal terms with Liverpool,” transfer expert Ian McGarry said.
“On a five-year contract that will pay the player around £140,000-a-week.”
