Chairman told Chelsea £80m attacker is available to sign, as Blues agree personal terms with Bundesliga superstar

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish has warned the likes of Chelsea that a deal for Wilfred Zaha will only be done at the “right” price.

Over the past few seasons, Zaha has developed into one of the most deadly attackers in the Premier League and his performances over the past few seasons has led to alot of speculation about where he will be by the end of the summer

The highly-rated 28-year-old has made no secret of that fact that the time has come for him to make another high-profile move, and Palace can appreciate why Zaha wants out, but no discounts will be offered to those planning to put formal bids on the table.

Parish has told BBC Sport : “We understand his position.

“It’s no secret that he would like to challenge himself.

“But it has to be right for the football club. He understands that as well.

“If those two things collide then we will have to look at it. But right now, we are two days into the transfer window so it’s a bit early to talk about it.”

Roundup…

He may not be a spring chicken, but he is proven in the Premier League and would be a player that fans would love to see on a weekly basis, especially as he adds pace, power and goals to that Palace squad.

But if Chelsea do make a transfer move in the coming weeks, is there really space in this Chelsea side for him to play on a weekly basis?

Blues agree personal terms with Bundesliga superstar

Chelsea has agreed on personal terms with Erling Haaland, according to The Express via Transfer Window Podcast. The Borussia Dortmund superstar is the number one target for the Blues this summer, who recently had a bid for the Norwegian rejected by the Bundesliga side.

Chelsea offered £60 million and Tammy Abraham for Haaland in a bid equivalent to £100 million. However, Dortmund wants around £150 million for the player in straight cash.

Several big clubs around Europe want the 20-year-old, but it is believed that Haaland prefers a move to Chelsea.

The Blues want to complete a deal this summer, but the player is willing to wait a year if needed when he would be available for a lot less.

However, Chelsea has the financial muscle to pull the deal off this summer, and, with personal terms agreed, they just have to agree on a fee with Dortmund.
