Chelsea board set to complete massive £70m signing of World-class player after Werner

Chelsea are keen on bringing in more attacking reinforcements ahead of next season as the Blues are already on the verge of confirming Timo Werner as a Blues player. Chelsea are reportedly set to complete a deal for German sensation Kai Harvetz from Bayern Leverkusen in a bumper deal.

Frank Lampard side have already completed the signing of Hakim Ziyech and are on the cusp of announcing the signing of Timo Werner after they have agreed a deal for the attacker. Chelsea still hold keen interest in 20-year old German attacker Kai Harvetz who has been a sensation in for Leverkusen in recent seasons.

The 20-year-old has been in outstanding goalscoring and attacking form for Leverkusen this term and he has bagged 15 goals and eight assists. Out of those, 12 goals and seven assists have come after the turn of the year and he is regarded as one of the hottest properties in German football.

Kai Harvetz has been regarded as one of the best players to have emerge from Germany and with the likes of Willian, Pedro and Batshuayi likely leaving the club, Chelsea are looking to bring as much attacking players as they look to rebuild under Frank Lampard.

Chelsea will have to beat the likes of Real Madrid and even Barcelona to the signing of the player. However, Chelsea have shown solid interest in the player and it will take a bid in the region of £70m to sign the player. Kai Harvetz will offer Chelsea numerous options in attack as the player is capable of featuring anywhere in attack.

Chelsea are looking to compete for trophies and Roman Abramovic is keen to massively invest in the club so they can compete with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City. The arrival of this huge players will be a massive boost and cause of excitement to the Chelsea fan base.
