Chelsea receive strong Neymar ‘warning’ as Blues set to make this transfer decision

In recent weeks, Chelsea has been connected with several attacking players, including PSG sensation Neymar.

The Brazilian is no longer needed by PSG, and they are willing to sell him.

Following PSG’s elimination from the Champions League the previous season, the fans booed Neymar, proving that he is no longer a necessity for the team.

Given that PSG wants to get rid of the Brazilian, the Brazilian is reportedly available for roughly £45 million.

Gus Poyet, a former Chelsea player, has now advised the club to abandon its plans to acquire Neymar.

Neymar would have trouble adjusting to the English game, said Poyet.

Gus Poyet told Lord Ping: “Chelsea shouldn’t try to sign Neymar,”

“I think he will stay at PSG. I think after [Kylian] Mbappe announced he was staying and with their ambition to try and win the Champions League, I can’t see him leaving.

“I don’t think he would adapt quickly to English football with how physical it is. I can’t see him joining Chelsea.”

Poyet has however advised Chelsea to make a move for Ousmane Dembele, who is available as a free agent.

“Chelsea should prioritise Dembele but the club will be having doubts about his fitness. Barcelona paid a lot of money for him and didn’t use him as much as expected,” said Poyet.

“We all know what he can do and how important he could be, but there’s a question mark around him.”
