Dele Alli reveals why Spurs players hate Chelsea more than Arsenal

According to Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli, Tottenham’s rivalry with Chelsea is bigger than Tottenham’s rivalry with Arsenal.

“I think if you ask the fans they will give you a different answer,” Alli told Copa90 as cited by Sports Illustrated, “but as players – the way things have been going with the league and the games – the rivalry with Chelsea is bigger than the one with Arsenal, because of what they have done to us in recent years.

“For fans, it’s different, because the North London derby is massive, but as players, I think it’s Chelsea.”

Alli certainly has a point, given that Chelsea have lost just five times in our last 20 games against Tottenham in all competitions, winning 11 and drawing four.

The last time that Arsenal finished above Spurs in the Premier League was way back in the 2015-16 season.
