Given the uncertainties surrounding Wesley Fofana’s future, Mokbel claims that Chelsea is seriously investigating the prospect of signing the Englishman.
Since joining Manchester United for £80 million from Leicester City, Maguire has struggled and made a lot of mistakes.
Mokbel claimed that Manchester United would attempt to incorporate Maguire into a trade in exchange for Christian Pulisic.
How accurate the claims made by Mokbel are yet to be seen, as Chelsea remain ‘optimistic’ about their chances of acquiring Wesley Fofana from Leicester City.
Despite Maguire’s shortcomings at Manchester United, the center-back is still a reliable player for his country.
