“I can’t believe this happened, Its unbelievable” – Watford boss Claudio Ranieri reveals why his team lost 2-1 to Chelsea
It wasn’t an impressive performance from the Blues, with Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel admitting afterwards that Chelsea stole 3 points at Watford.
However, Chelsea beat Watford 2-1 at Vicarage Road on Wednesday night, thanks to goals from Mason Mount and Hakim Ziyech.
Following the match Watford boss Claudio Ranieri felt it was “unbelievable” that Watford did not get anything from their home match against Chelsea.
“What can I say? It’s unbelievable what happened, but that’s football,” said Ranieri. “I’m very satisfied and very proud of my players and we must continue this way.
“I think we deserved at least a point, we played very very well, I’m very proud of my players, that’s it.”
