“I don’t see past these three teams” – Rio Ferdinand reveals why Chelsea are favorites to win the Champions League once again
According to Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has named Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea team among the three favourites to win the Champions League this season.
According to Ferdinand, Chelsea alongside Liverpool and Manchester City are among the favourites to win the Champions League this season.
Ferdinand believes Chelsea are favourites to win the Champions League because the Blues are so powerful and have one of the best managers in football.
Ferdinand told BT Sport: “I don’t see past the three English teams, Bayern might stake a claim but they [Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool] are so powerful and have who I think are the three best managers:”
“When you get to the latter stages, you need that experience in the dugout.”
