Late deal: Sevilla release new price tag for Jules Kounde transfer to Chelsea
2days to go to the end of the transfer window as Chelsea are keen to make double signings.
However, Chelsea are very much keen to secure Saul’s and Jules Kounde deal as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, according to reports in Spain, La Liga side Sevilla have handed the Blues an ultimatum over the transfer of centre-back Jules Kounde.
Spanish media outlet AS via Goal claim Chelsea have been told they may have to meet Jules Kounde’s €80 million (£68/$94m) release clause if they fail to submit a suitable offer for the France defender on Monday.
Sevilla want around €60-70m for Kounde, an amount the Blues are reluctant to offer for the centre-back.
However, the Blues have been warned if a bid of around €60-70m isn’t received by Monday, Chelsea will have to pay €80million for the transfer of Kounde.
