“Looks like they’re parting ways in January”, “he has to leave”, “average player” – Fans urge Chelsea star to leave club after potter drop him against Milan
Due to Christian Pulisic’s lack of playing time at Stamford Bridge under new manager Graham Potter, Chelsea supporters are pleading with him to quit the club.
On October 5, Pulisic sat on the bench as a substitute as the Blues easily defeated AC Mila 3-0 in the Champions League.
However, Wesley Fofana, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and Reece James scored the decisive goals as Potter’s team earned their first victory in the Champions League this year.
Since taking over for Thomas Tuchel in the beginning of September, Potter has given Pulisic 27 minutes of playing time in three games.
Conor Gallagher received a crucial assist from the former Borussia Dortmund attacker during the weekend’s dramatic 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace.
However, Pulisic did not play in tonight’s match, and Potter’s decision to not give the USMNT captain any playing time has not been warmly received by Twitter users.
Mason Mount is allegedly being given special treatment because he is English.
Meanwhile, Pulisic did make 38 appearances in all competitions, scoring eight goals and contributing five assists in the 2021-22 campaign.
However, most of those appearances came from the substitutes bench and he has fallen further down the pecking order as time has progressed.
