Mendy sets ‘Incredible’ record following goalless draw against Manchester United

Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy set a Chelsea record in the goalless draw against Manchester United on Saturday at Old Trafford.

Mendy became the first Chelsea goalkeeper to keep a clean sheet in both of his first two Premier League games for the club since Petr Cech in August 2004.

Mendy kept a clean sheet in the 4-0 victory over Crystal Palace in the Premier League, which was his Premier League debut. He followed it up with another clean sheet in Chelsea’s goalless draw against Manchester United.

Mendy also kept a clean sheet in his Champions League debut for the Blues in Tuesday’s goalless draw against Sevilla at Stamford Bridge.
