According to reports, Chelsea are closing on a £40million swoop for Brighton defender Lewis Dunk, and the defender believes that he will make a move to the Bridge.

The reports also suggest that the life-long Chelsea fan now believes believes he is on his way to Stamford Bridge this summer, despite the interest from London rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

His leadership, ability and quality on the ball is something that Lampard would love to add to his side in the transfer windows, and the fact that he is proven in the Premier League, well, that would be a massive benefit to Chelsea.

Look, the Blues have a big budget and can spend some serious money this coming transfer window if they really wish too, so if they can go out and get Dunk, then he would be a very solid addition to the Chelsea back-line.
