The Blues insider reports that it is Cech behind the move for the rising French star, and there is a new meeting planned between Cech and his agent next week.
Chelsea see Tchouameni as a cheaper alternative to Declan Rice, and there is certainly no doubting his quality and potential.
Chelsea will surely not be the only club looking to sign him this summer and beyond.
