REPORT: Chelsea board set to agree £120million deal to complete double transfer for World-class players

Despite already completing the transfers of Ziyech and Werner, Chelsea are reportedly set to complete the signing of Kai Havertz and highly rated French defender Dayot Upamencano.

Chelsea have been in the race to complete the signing of Kai Havertz and the Blues are now set to finalize the deal to bring the attacker to Stamford Bridge. 21-year old Kai Havertz who has been considered as the best attacking talent to have emerged from Germany in recent years will reportedly move to Chelsea in the coming weeks.

The German attacker has been in superb form for Bayern Leverkusen in the league and Champions league and the player has reportedly agreed a 5-year contract with the Blues. The player will bring in further attacking quality to Frank Lampard’s side come next season.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have agreed to pay a fee in the region of £77million in total to complete the transfer for Havertz. However, Chelsea will pay an initial £57million to Leverkusen while the rest of the fee will be paid as add-ons. Chelsea are confident Kai Havertz will be heading to England before the end of the month.

Also, Chelsea have been in advanced talks as they look to bring in a world-class defender to solve their defensive issues. Chelsea are now reportedly set to complete the signing of Dayot Upamencano as they have possibly reached an agreement to complete the transfer.

However, Chelsea will have to pay a fee in the region of £50million to complete the transfer for the defender. The arrival of Upamencano will massively improve Chelsea’s leaky defence.

Dayot Upamencano and Kai Havertz are the ideal signings to take Chelsea to the next level as both players will massively improve the squad and also bring in more stability. Chelsea have a huge transfer budget and both players could be heading to Chelsea in a few weeks.
