‘Sell him to Man Utd, We want to rebuild, let him go please’ – Fans reacted after another Romano transfer update on Chelsea star departure
According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech will have options to leave the club this summer.
The Moroccan is expected to be one of the players offloaded by manager Thomas Tuchel, according to the Italian journalist, and supporters on Twitter are split on whether selling him is a good idea.
It may be said that Tuchel has never given Ziyech a long enough run in the side, although injuries have played a part in his Chelsea career’s stop-start character.
Having said that, he hasn’t really taken his chances this season when given the chance to start matches. Tuchel has named him in the starting lineup 26 times, and he has only seven goals and four assists in that time.
The figures aren’t very spectacular when compared to his goal-scoring record for Ajax in the Netherlands. Tuchel appears to have exhausted his patience with the 29-year-old.
