Chelsea have been active in the transfer market, with deals not only for incoming players, but players who are exiting the club as well.
One of such players who’s expected to leave Stamford Bridge is Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.
Bakayoko joined Chelsea in 2017 following a £40m transfer from Monaco after a stunning season with the French side, and made 43 appearances in his first season with the club. However, it didn’t work out well for Bakayoko at Chelsea, and he has gone on loan spells at AC Milan and Monaco.
Reputable Italian reporter Fabrizio Romano, has now confirmed that Tiemoue Bakayoko is set for another move to AC Milan, and the midfielder will join the Rossoneri on loan with an option to buy in June 2021.
According to Romano, Bakayoko has already agreed personal terms with AC Milan. Romano also claims that AC Milan has offered Chelsea €3 million for a year-long loan deal for Bakayoko with a €35 million buyout option.
Romano wrote in his tweet: “AC Milan are getting closer to Tiemoué Bakayoko. Positive talks on last hours with Chelsea – it’d be a loan with buy option in June 2021, confirmed. Bakayoko wants to come back and personal terms agreed. Work in progress. 🔴⚫️ @DiMarzio @SkySport #Milan #Bakayoko #Chelsea #CFC”
